Iron-Man Late Model Series
Jim and Nancy Viox Join the Sponsorship List for the Iron-Man Racing Series in 2023
SOMERSET, KY (February 10, 2023) — Officials with the Valvoline Iron-Man Late Model Series and the Brucebilt Iron-Man Open Wheel Modified Series are pleased to announce a new series partner for the 2023 racing season.
Longtime race fans Jim and Nancy Viox of northern Kentucky have partnered with the series as a new sponsor for the upcoming race season.
Mr. Viox is a civil engineer, he helped reconfigure pit row at the Kentucky Speedway in Sparta, Ky. before the NASCAR Cup Series attended the track for the first time in 2011. The first Cup race was plagued by a massive traffic problem where many of the fans who expected to attend the race were turned away after several hours on Interstate 71. Following the problem, Kentucky Speedway announced that they bought more land for parking and began to work with the state government and the Viox group to improve traffic around the speedway in time for the 2012 race.
“I want to personally thank Jim and Nancy Viox for their friendship over the years and them wanting to sponsor our series. It truly means a lot to myself and the tour,” stated Chris Tilley, President of CT Promotions, LLC.
