Brucebilt Performance Parts Iron-Man Open Wheel Modified Southern Series Lands for Area 51 at 411 Motor Speedway July 16

SOMERSET, KENTUCKY (July 11, 2022)- The Brucebilt Performance Parts Iron-Man Open Wheel Modified Series is set for the richest event in series history and the Southern division of the tour will be at 411 Motor Speedway in Seymour, TN on Saturday July 16 for the track’s 3rd Annual Area 51 event, featuring the Brucebilt Performance Parts Iron-Man Open Wheel Modified Southern Series racing 51 laps for $5,100 to win and $300 to start.

411 Motor Speedway will host an open practice prior to the Area 51 event on Friday July 15. Activities for the open practice on Friday July 15 will see the pit area open at 5:00 p.m. and the open practice will take place from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. A pit pass for the open practice will be $20.

The Brucebilt Performance Parts Iron-Man Open Wheel Modified Southern Series will be in competition at 411 Motor Speedway in Seymour, TN on Saturday July 16 and will be featured in a full racing program of Practice, E-Z-GO Time Trials, Sunoco Race Fuels Heats, Impact Race Gear B-Mains, and the 51 lap, $5,100 to win/$300 to start Area 51 feature event. Also, on the Area 51 racing program at 411 Motor Speedway on Saturday July 16 will be the track’s 604 Late Models racing for $1,000 to win, 602 Late Models racing for $800 to win, Sportsman racing for $800 to win, Street Stocks racing for $500 to win, and Front Wheel Drives (411 rules) racing for $500 to win. Of note, raceceivers, racing gloves, and racing shoes are mandatory in all classes. 411 Motor Speedway rules apply to local divisions and for tech questions, please call Joe Byrd at (865) 776-1798.

Activities at 411 Motor Speedway for the 3rd Annual Area 51 event will see the pit area open at 2:00 p.m., while the general admission area will open at 5:00 p.m. The drivers meeting will be at 6:15 p.m., with practice laps and time trials to follow at 6:30 p.m. Ticket prices for the 3rd Annual Area 51 at 411 Motor Speedway in the general admission area will be $15, while children 12 and under are $5. Pit passes and tier parking will be $35, with children 12 and under $5.

The Brucebilt Performance Parts Iron-Man Open Wheel Modified Southern Series will sanction the Open Wheel Modified portion of the Area 51 program and the tire rule will be as follows: Hoosier M30s, M60, Medium, Hard; American Racer Hard and Extra Hard (only Hoosier M60, Hard, and American Racer Extra Hard are allowed as right-rear tire options) - grooving and siping of tires are allowed per UMP rulebook; UMP 2022 body rules apply; no limit of tires used per night).
