Brucebilt Iron-Man Open Wheel Modified Northern Series Releases 2022 Schedule
SOMERSET, KY (January 15, 2022)—Officials with the Brucebilt Iron-Man Open Wheel Modified Northern Series have released the 2022 schedule of events featuring ten events in three states.
The tour will visit Atomic Speedway in Waverly, Ohio, Muskingum County Speedway in Zanesville, Ohio, Richmond (Ky.) Raceway, Ponderosa Speedway in Junction City, Ky., Brownstown (Ind.) Speedway and Portsmouth (OH) Raceway Park. Eleven races will be held. There will be a points fund for the top five driers at the end of the season. The champion will receive $1,000, second place will get $500, third place will get $300, fourth place will get $200 and fifth place will get $100. Points fund will be based on 80 percent of scheduled races completed and 100 percent of racer attendance.
The tour will run by the UMP 2022 rule book including bodies and tire rules. The purses for each race will be released prior to each event in a release. All events will feature hot lap/qualifying, heat races, consolation races and the feature event. These events will be run on the same night with the Valvoline Iron-Man Late Model Northern Series.
Yearly Memberships will be sold for $50.00 per season to be eligible for provisionals and points fund money at the seasons end. Entry Fees for the Northern Series will be $20.00 for Non-Members per event but $10.00 for Members. The Membership forms will be available on IMOpenWheel.net in the near future.
